Die Erfahrung beim Betrieb des in diesem Vorhaben beschafften Kolbenverdichters zeigen, dass das verdichtete Gas nicht vollkommen ölfrei ist. Dies führt zu einer Verunreinigung der Gasatmosphäre und der Dämmung im Druckbehälter. Um eine weitere Verschmutzung zu verhindern, wurde der Druckbehälter mittels Gasflaschen zu je 50 l und 200 bar Überdruck befüllt. Diese Vorgehensweise weist allerdings einen ökonomischen Nachteil durch die verbleibende Restgasmenge in den Flaschen auf und erfordert ein gut geplantes Versuchsprogramm, um das Gas möglichst effizient einzusetzen.

This leads to contamination of the atmosphere and the insulation in the pressure tank. To prevent further pollution, the pressure vessel by means of gas bottles became ever 50 l and filling pressure of 200 bar. This approach however has an economic disadvantage by the amount of residual gas bottles and requires a well-planned pilot program in order to use the gas as efficiently as possible.
