Aktuell wird in den Benzin-Kraftstofffördermodulen ein analoger Drucksensor der Fa. Sensata verwendet.
Mit der Fa. TDK wurde ein bau- und funktionsgleicher Sensor entwickelt und freigegeben. Dieser ist in den laufenden Baureihen 1:1 austauschbar.
Entsprechend der Kostenindikation, welche von MP/FB1 mit TDK „verhandelt“ wurde, ist mit der Umstellung eine Kostenreduzierung möglich.
Der Sensor ist somit eine alternative Variante zum bestehenden Sensor.
