Die Schweissstation wird als Punktschweissstation ausgeführt. Der Schweisskopf verfügt über 2 Elektroden die horizontal auf der Baugruppe positioniert werden. Der Schweissstrom fliesst durch die zu verschweissenden Teile wie in der unten abgebildeten Grafik dargestellt. Dabei wird der Schweissstrom überwacht. Es erfolgen 2 Schweissungen. Vor der zweiten Schweissung wird das Produkt in der Aufnahme um 180° gedreht.
