Im Erstantrag wurde die Ausführung der Regelungssysteme nicht ausführlich vorgeplant. Die Auslegung der Regelungs- und Steuerungstechnik der Messapparatur ist mit großem Aufwand verbunden, um die zuvor erwähnten drei Betriebsweisen realisieren zu können. Insgesamt müssen 8 Heizungskreise, die thermisch miteinander gekoppelt sind, geregelt werden. Weiterhin muss die Messwerterfassung von 60 Thermoelementen und 6 Drucksensoren, die Messung der Heizleistung sowie die Kühlwasser-Durchflussmengen und schließlich verschiedene elektrische Sicherheitskreise integriert und programmiert werden. Durch die Erprobung der Messapparatur sowie Durchführung von Testversuchen wurde die optimale Einstellung von Parametern für das Regelungssystem entsprechend für die
jeweilige Betriebsweise gefunden.
