Ist dies erfolgt, so leuchtet die grüne „OK“ – LED und die Turbinendrehzahl / Turbinenleistung kann nun vom Piloten vorgegeben werden.7. Die Triebwerksdrehzahl kann nun durch nach vorne Schieben des Gasschiebers proportional bis auf Volllastdrehzahl hochgefahren werden (ab ca. 40000 1/min Turbinendrehzahl greift die Fliehkraftkupplung und das Rotorsystem wir in Rotation versetzt. Im Limits-Menü (siehe Seite 42) kann die Hochlaufzeit (SpoolUp Time) der Turbine verändert werden. Der Parameter „SpoolUp Time“ bestimmt die Mindestzeit in Sekunden von Leerlaufdrehzahl bis Vollgasdrehzahl auch bei schlagartigem Gasgeben.Der Standartwert liegt bei 3,5sec. und kann mit der GSU bis 20sec. eingestellt werden.Sollte der Gasschieber schnell aus der Leerlaufposition (Mittelstellung) aufVollgasposition (oberer Anschlag) geschoben wird, dann beschleunigt das Triebwerk sanft innerhalb der eingestellten Hochlaufzeit.Sobald der Gasschieber auf Vollgas gebracht (Schritt 4) wurde, wird von der Jet-tronic der vollautomatische Startvorgang ausgelöst. Der Startvorgang kann jederzeit sofort abgebrochen werden, indem der Gasschieber auf AUS geschoben wird (ganz nach hinten).Nachdem der Startvorgang ausgelöst wurde geschieht folgendes:1. Die Turbine wird über die Anlasser auf ca. 2000-3500 1/min hochgedreht.2. Nun wird die Glühkerze eingeschaltet und das Gasventil geöffnet.3. Die Drehzahl der Turbine fällt nun wieder langsam ab. Während des Herunterlaufens der Turbine setzt normalerweise die Zündung ein. Falls die Zündung beim ersten Versuch nicht direkt einsetzten sollte, wird ein weiterer Zündversuch unternommen ( Schritt 1). Sollte innerhalb von ca. 30 Sekunden die Turbine nicht gezündet haben wird der Startvorgang abgebrochen ( grüne LED blinkt).4. Sobald die Zündung eingesetzt hat wird die Turbine über den Anlasser weiter beschleunigt. Bei ca. 4500 1/min wird dann die Kraftstoffpumpe automatisch zugeschaltet ( rote „Pump running“ LED leuchtet)5. Die Turbine wird nun weiter auf Leerlaufdrehzahl hochgefahren. Sobald die Mindestdrehzahl überschritten wurde, wird der Anlasser automatisch ausgekuppelt und die gelbe LED erlischt.6. Die Turbine wird jetzt kurzzeitig auf ca. 38000 U/min hochgefahren und anschließend automatisch auf Leerlaufdrehzahl stabilisiert bis der Pilot den Gasschieber ebenfalls auf Leerlaufposition gebracht hat (= Mittelstellung).
