Soiling Rate Analysis
In order to determine appropriate soiling rates for the various climates and environments considered, a soft ware application was created to automate the calculation of the slope and the R2 of the linear regression of temp over the2005 dry season for all of Power Light’s monitored systems(approximately 250 systems). The year 2005 was chosen to maximize the amount of data available for this analysis. Each of Power Light’s systems was assigned a geographical region and local environment type.
