Zum Schutz der Messapparatur wurden mehrere Sicherheitskreise eingebaut: Vier
Sicherheits-Temperaturbegrenzer (Alarmeinheiten) und ein einstellbarer
Übertemperaturausschalter in jedem Regler sorgen für den Schutz der jeweiligen Heizung.
Weiterhin werden der Wasserdurchfluss sowie die Wassertemperatur im Kühlsystem
überwacht. Zuletzt sind zwei Überdrucksicherheitsventile zum Schutz des Druckbehälters
integriert. Ein Schalter an der oberen Haube schließt den elektrischen Kreis für alle
Heizungen nur im geschlossen Zustand des Druckbehälters, sodass die Heizungen beim
Probenwechsel nicht aktiviert werden können. Zum Schutz der Vakuumpumpen sowie des
Verdichters wurden Motorschutzschalter vorgesehen.
